I bought mine in 2002 and I love it just as much now as I did then. It has been my daily watch during that entire time and I have never been let down. I think I have changed out two batteries during that time. You will know when the battery is going low, as it starts running slow. Other than that, it keeps perfect time. Whenever I have to change the date (silly <31 day months), I synch it to time.gov and it keeps it to the second whenever the next date change might be.
I purchased it from a jeweler for $400 back then, so anything 'on sale' is a terrific value.

My husband loves watches. We saw this watch in a duty free store upon returning from our honeymoon. However, this watch was $300 more in the watch store. Thanks to Amazon, I ordered it on line (it shipped fast I might add) and my husband who does not always wear a watch has not taken it off since he got it. It looks masculin, classy and understated which is what I husband likes!!!

I've had this watch for about 3 years now. For the price you will not find a better watch. Unfortunately I am not very gentle with my belongings but this watch has taken everything in stride. The crystal has been though hell and back and there are still no scratches. I have only had to change the battery once since I have owned it. Complete strangers have commented on how great it looks. I am extremely pleased with this watch. I'm always on the lookout for new watches and I still haven't found anything near the quality of this watch for the price.

Has a screw-down crown for a water resistant seal. Crystal is flawless. Metal components are of sufficient density, have good contour, and are mechanically well-put-together. Chronograph controls are easy to operate, though the instruction manual is quite small, though thick, about 2 inches by 1.5 inches by 1/2 inch. Feel of the watch -- the density and the mechanical movements -- is that of high quality. Keeps accurate time. Easy to read dial. Glow-in-the dark elements highly visible after exposure to sunlight or flourescent lights. A very impressive, formidable and no-nonsense watch. Would be an appropriate option as a gift to a father or a son, for example.
