| Customer Reviews: Love the watch, replaced the band. January 25, 2010 Eagle Man (Seattle, WA) The Aqua Consorco is really a lovely watch. It's designed after the Chopard Mille Miglia Gran Turismo XL ($5,130), right down to the rubber strap. I replaced the rubber strap with a black sharkskin strap and I couldn't be happier (I purchased the watch with the intention of replacing the rubber strap with the sharkskin strap).
The automatic movement keeps excellent time. It was a very long power reserve, so it keeps going between windings if it's off the wrist. Of course it's an automatic, which winds with movement of the wrist. The MOP dial is splendid. The watch has excellent lume on the large numbers, hands and hour markers when the lights go down. The only reason I rated it a 4, not a 5 is for the rubber strap, which if you think about it, is a matter of personal preference.
With the black sharkskin strap, it's one of my favorite watches!
Sporty watch with a touch of class January 25, 2010 R. Mullen (San Francisco, CA) This is a great looking watch at a very reasonable price.
Fully automatic, and the white mother of pearl dial looks great. The iridescence doesn't really come through in the online photos.
It's 45mm wide w/o the crown, 50mm with. But, the bezel isn't very wide around the edge, so it has the appearance of an even larger watch.
The included rubber band is very comfortable, and the clasp works smoothly.
I've also swapped in a leather band for a more dressed up look.
It is a wonderful all around watch.
Stuhrling Original Men's Sportsman's 'Aqua Concorso' Automatic Rubber Racing Watch #175M.33167 December 23, 2009 Desmond Chua I rate this product 5 stars. Very sporty look and looks fantastic. I don't have any problems reading the time on the face. My peers commented that this is a nice watch. For the amount I paid for this watch, it's definitely worth it.
Good value for money-maybe?? July 4, 2008 Tin Tin (Chicago, IL) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Just got this, Amazon had a special on this model/color only for $139, so I snapped it up. Good quality and solid feel. I like the big face, and really like the rubber wrist band. It was easy to cut rubber to get a snug fit. It looses 1 star because the hands are sometimes hard to read white on white!! I think in black or color it would be better.
9/1/08 Follow-up, just outside of Amazons 30 day return window the second hand keeps getting stuck at 8pm. Not happy as I now have to ship the watch to Stuhrling for warranty repair, they also need $20 for return shipping! This is not good after less than 2 months, I've had cheap/stylish Fossils last for years and no problems.
I will try and write a closing statement on this when I get watch back.
10/10/08 Conclusion, Watch was repaired and returned within a couple of weeks, no reason for problem was stated on packing slip, it annoyed me that they shipped it back in one of those huge yellow boxes again, shipping was probably $8, but I paid $20!! It was not a replacement watch, I could tell as my wristband was the same I had cut to fit my wrist. I would not buy one of these again, I think they are hyped up, have unrealistic "real" pricing, and are not worth it.
Very nice watch for the price! July 2, 2008 Ladd Hebert (Dallas, TX USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Not much to say, except that I'm very please with my purchase of this watch. The face/watch may be a little big for some people, but I'm attracted to the size. The feature that I like the most is that it is an automatic watch that requires no batteries or winding. The band is comfortable and easily adjustable. The watch is not very heavy, so it sits on the wrist well. All in all, very happy with the quality of the watch and the price to go along with it.
