Amazon.com Product Description Keep yourself sharp when training for that 10K race (or just trying to lose a couple pounds) and keep yourself on time for important appointments with the Timex T5C291 Data Link USB Ironman digital watch. It combines the convenience of a personal organizer with the performance of a full-function, digital timepiece, and it easily connects to your PC for synchronization of schedules as well as timing data. It features a matte resin body with metallic top ring, durable stainless-steel strap, crown for easy setting, 2-year battery life, and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet). Sport training features include a 200-lap chronograph with multiple session memory, multiple countdown timers with labels, multi-event interval timers, and dual setting options. The included software works with Microsoft Outlook for Windows PCs (Windows 98SE, Me, 2000, and XP), and it enables you to set hundreds of alarms, timers, and interval timers as well as choose custom sounds. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. Sorry if you missed out... June 24, 2010 A. Stahmer (Lawrence, KS USA) I think this line has been discontinued by Timex, which is unfortunate...it is a great watch packed with features, but in all honesty, probably features you'd find on a good cell phone.
I'll be very disappointed one day when mine gives out and I've got to find another kind of watch to replace it.
Great to sync with Outlook Calendar June 1, 2010 Martin Politick (Montreal) The first unit failed after about 6 months, but got replaced at no charge under warranty without any hassle from Timex.
Timex Review April 22, 2010 RVoisine (Connecticut, USA)
I had this model watch before and it still works perfectly. I recently purhased another one from Amazon.Com to ensure that I would have another incase my first one fails later on. However, Timex watches are inexpensive and of very good quality, therfore I do not expect any problems with either watch. Programming the watch is simple and it has enough programming functionality for most applications. I highly recommend this watch.

Crappy watchband for an excellent watch April 12, 2010 Floridafraze (Florida, USA) I bought my second Timex Ironman Data Link watch as a standby for my first one that's gotten pretty banged up over the last several years. I LOVE the watch and wanted to make sure I would not be without one if my first one died. I saw the watch as listed on Amazon came with a 'metal' band and immediately decided to buy that one, since the cheap rubber watchbands for the Timex watches (sold only by Voguestrap for $12 +$3 shipping) only last about 12 months before they rot and break (quite a rip off).
I thought the 'metal' band would finally put an end to the wasteful replacement of the bands. NOT SO. I received the new watch only to find that the black sections of the band's links are made of the same cheap rubber material that the standard bands are made of! Now, instead of only having two sections of a watchband to break there are dozens of little links to break!
Because of the 'sculpted' edges of the Ironman watches, they are a bit difficult to get a band to fit nicely, however, I think I might scrap the 'metal' band on the new watch and try to find a decent REAL METAL watchband for it.
Like I said - an excellent watch - an absolutely crappy band.

Awesome watch March 17, 2010 Darryl Cornett (LA PLACE, LA, US) Love that you can sync your birthdays, contacts, phone numbers... The only down side to this watch is the resih connectors on the band. I have bought several of these because I like the watch and the price.
